Jim & Elizabeth McIngvale Focus On OCD
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a common, chronic and long-lasting disorder in which a person has uncontrollable, reoccurring thoughts (obsessions) and behaviors (compulsions) that he or she feels the urge to repeat over and over(ritualization). These symptoms can interfere with all aspects of life, such as work, school, and personal relationships. OCD is a common disorder that affects adults, adolescents, and children all over the world.
Because of Elizabeth McIngvale’s struggles with OCD from the age of 11 onward, this disorder has become near and dear to the McIngvale family and they have generously donated time and money to helping bring OCD and those suffering from it to light and helping to find ways to treat it more effectively so that no family feels alone in their struggle. This video helps to tell the story, struggle and blessings of the Elizabeth McIngvale and her family as they dealt with her OCD.
