What should a caregiver consider when choosing furniture? 

Obviously, I'd choose how easy it is going to be to get my patient up and out of the furniture. Are they still able to stand up? If not, buy a MacZcliner or power lift chair at Gallery Furniture. Buy a wonderful chair that sits a little firmer because they need the help getting up and out.

I'd also consider the mattress. What type of mattress are they interested in? Do I buy an adjustable mattress? What is going to make my client comfortable, and what's going to make their job of everyday living easier, so they can spend time enjoying the furniture, not fighting to get in and out of it?

Deep, plush, overstuffed sofas that would fit a 29-year-old? Probably not. A MacZcliner or a wonderful power reclining sofa that would work.
