If you build furniture before that moisture is properly removed or shrunk down to 3 or 4 percent, the wood can expand, twist, crack, and warp.

Kiln drying carefully removes that moisture from the wood before the furniture is ever built. That means your table stays flatter, your drawers work better, your chairs stay tighter. It's one of those things customers never see, but they absolutely benefit from it every day.
