How Firm Should Your Mattress Be? Find Your Perfect Comfort Level

How firm should I go? Soft, medium, or firm? Side sleepers generally do better with softer to medium firmness to cushion the shoulders and hips. Back and stomach sleepers usually need medium to firm for proper spinal support.

Body weight also matters.

Heavier individuals need firmer support to avoid sinking too deep.
