The most difficult staircase we've ever delivered up is one of those tiny spiral staircases. When you're taking one of those big, heavy wood dressers, one time we had to have 4people all lift it over the tops of their heads. I don't know that we do that anymore because of safety reasons, but they lifted it over the tops of their heads and danced around that spiral staircase to finally get it up.

So we've had a lot of difficult deliveries. We've had other ones where the only way the furniture would get in was through the window. So we had to come out there, take the window out, and then we had to put these hoists on the furniture, wrap it up, and haul it up 2 or 3 stories to get it in through the window.

Lots of difficult deliveries in Gallery Furniture's history, but we try to go the extra mile to please customers as long as it's safe for the customer, for their home, and for our team members.
