Is today's furniture built as well as furniture from years ago?

So today's furniture quite often is built as well as furniture built 30 years ago. At the same time, there's a lot of stores selling cheap imported furniture that looks like good furniture. They've taken all the guts out of it. It looks like a great value. You get it home, it turns into junk.

So buyer beware. Be careful what you're buying. Make sure you find out the country of origin, how it's made, how long it's going to last, what the consumer's opinion of that sofa is.
