People ask me all the time,
"Mattress Mack, which furniture brands are built to last the longest?"
That's a good question. What furniture brands are built to stand the test of time?
Well, the truth is, the brands, to me, don't really matter.
What matters is the retailer. Is the retailer going to stand behind what they sell for a long time?
What's inside the furniture matters even more.
At Gallery Furniture, we carry furniture that will last for you and your family in your home.
Some furniture lasts longer than others. Some furniture costs more than others. The more it costs, generally, the longer it lasts.
But let me give you an example.
We sell Amish solid wood dining room tables and chairs Made in America.
I was talking to one of our great service ladies the other day. She's been at Gallery Furniture for 18 years, 10, 5, and 3. That's a lot of years.
And I asked her, "How many Amish solid wood chairs have you seen come in here broken over the last 18 years?"
She said, "I can count the number — less than 10."
Over 18 years, we've probably sold 40,000 to 50,000 Amish solid wood chairs and only had 10 have a problem.
Buy from retailers that you know and trust, and they'll stand behind the product.
If there's a problem, they'll solve it for you.
That's what we do at Gallery Furniture.
We can't solve every problem on furniture that's 4 or 5 years old. But if you buy furniture and it has a problem fairly quickly, we're going to take care of you 24-7.
Gallery Furniture, here today, tomorrow, and in the future to take care of you, our great Texas customers.
Just like the solid wood chairs Made in America, if you buy quality, it doesn't break.
