Inside a 100+ Year-Old Stickley Recliner

My favorite heirloom Stickley piece is this wonderful recliner. This is the original recliner. I think this chair, let's see, this Stickley Made in America chair is the grandfather of the recliner business. Made by Stickley circa 1910. It's still in use, 1910. This Gustav Stickley chair sold at auction for $30,000 in the year 2018. Stickley, timeless American-made furniture. The leather is still the original leather. Look at this wonderful, uh, this wonderful white oak that Stickley still uses. The joinery they still use. The style they still use. The original recliner, the way you made it recline back, you had these pegs. So you move the peg back, put it in the peg hole, and the recliner goes back further. This is the original recliner from Stickley. When you buy Stickley furniture at Gallery Furniture, you're getting heirloom-quality American-made furniture that 100 years from now quite often will look just as good. Buy Stickley furniture, buy it once, and enjoy it for a lifetime.
