My favorite customer story?

Oh, probably way back when we were just starting this place, we sold, I think, a $3,000 order. This is back in like 1983, and that's similar to a $50,000 order today. Our warehouse was up the street on Bennington because we'd outgrown our little warehouse here.

So they went up there to pick up the furniture, and we loaded it all in their pickup truck. My wife, Linda, loaded the furniture herself, tied it down. She did all the work.

She was, and is, a spatial genius. She got all this furniture on this pickup truck. So driving out, a little boy stuck his head out the window and said, "We bought a lot of furniture. We bought a lot of furniture."

And that's a great story. We tell it all the time.
