You buy the furniture, we check you out, and schedule the delivery. Say you live in the Houston area. You buy it at one o'clock, we schedule it for 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. that day.
The ticket prints at the warehouse. They pull it down out of the big cantilevered racks. They put the furniture on the dock. They open the furniture, we open every box, we inspect every piece.
We leave the cardboard at Gallery Furniture it's not going to come into your yard.
We inspect every piece, then, after we inspect the piece and make sure it's in great shape, we carefully shrink-wrap it, then blanket-wrap it with blue furniture blankets, and shrink-wrap it again.
The warehouse people prepare your order. We put on the outside of the shrink wrap, "John Jones Delivery."
The delivery team then loads it carefully on the truck, and we're headed your way.
When we get to your home, as we're on the way, the helper will call 30 minutes out saying we're on the way, and then we knock on your door.
The drivers ask politely to see where the furniture is going to go: back bedroom, upstairs, downstairs, playroom, whatever.
They clear a path to the room, maybe remove a couple of pictures off the wall that might be damaged, remove lamps so nothing's damaged in your home.
Then they bring the furniture in. They set it up, they have you inspect it. You sign off. We take all the shrink wrap and the packing materials away, and you're good to go with your furniture today.
