Which Room Should You Furnish First? Mattress Mack Explains

If I'm furnishing an entire house, which room should I furnish first?

I would think first it would be getting some great mattresses because you're going to sleep one-third of your life. The most important material possession you own is a great mattress. Start off by getting everybody a great mattress for their bedroom.

Then I'd look toward the dining room. You got to have a great dining room table, great place for the family to eat three times a day, family gatherings, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, birthdays, holidays, celebrations, living room furniture where you spend all your time, etc. So it depends on you, but I would definitely start off with a mattress and a dining room table that would get you going.
