Why a Bigger Dining Table Creates Better Family Memories

Mack, why are people buying such large dining room tables nowadays?

Because they're planning for life instead of just planning for one night's dinner.

A lot of folks come in looking for a table that seats 6. Then I ask, "What about Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthday parties, everybody coming over to watch the big game at your house? Where are you going to put the food? What happens when everybody gets ready to eat? How about when the kids get married?"

Pretty soon they realize they're not buying a table today, they're buying it for the next 30 or 40 years.

One of the greatest sounds in the world is hearing every chair around your dining room table filled with people that you love, respect, and admire. Your family, your friends, your neighbors.

Don't buy furniture that limits that incredible time together. Buy furniture that welcomes them and creates that symmetry and that warmth around that dining room table.

That's why Amish craftsmen build tables every day. Tables and chairs that are made for you, made for conversations, made for family gatherings.
