Why Amish Furniture Is Considered the Best Handmade Furniture in the World

What makes Amish furniture different from a mainstream American factory?

Well, first of all, in making wood furniture, there's not many mainstream American factories left. Unfortunately, thousands offshore to China and Vietnam have that work out for us, but not too good.

But 3 things about the Amish: generally, the factory is right there on their farm. The factory is right there on the farm. They make the furniture with equipment in their factory, and generally 3 or 4 families kind of work together.

One makes this part of a piece, the other makes the other part, but it all comes together, and they put it together and stain it and finish it right there in Amish, Ohio, or Indiana.

In fact, it is the best handmade furniture in the world. It takes Amish furniture makers 8 to 12 weeks because it's built one piece at a time. It's built for quality, built to last, built to last a lifetime.

It's not made in some sweatshop in the Orient where they're paying people a dollar an hour.

Amish craftsmen are American workers. They work with their hands, they love what they do, they make furniture that you and your family can be proud of for 100 years.
