Why Most Furniture Stores Don’t Offer Same-Day Delivery

Frequently asked question: Why don't other furniture retailers offer same-day delivery? 

Real simple, because it costs too damn much. It's hard to do. You got to work at it. You'll have to increase your hours from, uh, some stores open at 10, and they close at 6. 

At Gallery Furniture our warehouse opens at 8 and closes at 10 o'clock at night. You got to work seven days a week to deliver furniture the same day. It's hard.

That's why they don't do it. It's hard, it's expensive, but it delights customers. That's why we do it every day.
