Work With Purpose: The Story Behind American Craftsmanship

Mack, you say that American solid wood furniture like this dining room table is made with pride. Does pride in what you do really make a difference?

It does to me. It does to thousands and millions of Americans from 1776 on.

You can always tell when somebody takes pride in their work, whether it's building furniture, driving a delivery truck, teaching school, raising a family. Pride shows. Work brings purpose and meaning to life.

The Amish craftsmen bring purpose and meaning to their life by building solid wood furniture that's not good enough, that's the best they can make it.

Because they know every piece of furniture that's built is going into somebody's dining room, bedroom, living room, and that's a responsibility worth taking seriously.

Hand-built, handed down solid wood furniture made by Amish craftsmen, made to last, Made in America, and help us all keep pursuing the American dream.
