I purchased the chair to aid in recovery from a traumatic injury. I rest much better in the chair than my bed due to my current physical limitations. The chair is supportive and allows the top of my body to lay comfortably flat against the back of the chair. The lift feature helps me not stress my arms and shoulders to rise.

I purchased this chair for my son who has Parkinson's Disease. Getting from a sitting position to a standing position was challenging. The chair has eliminated the challenge.
