Athens Brownstone Queen Panel Storage Bed
The Athens Brownstone Queen Panel Storage Bed is an elegant platform design that balances warmth, structure, and quiet sophistication. The calm vertical lines, low visual weight, and uncluttered surfaces align with Japanese and Scandinavian Minimalist design principals—where balance, craftsmanship, and serenity matter more than excess detail. Finished in an understated dark wood tone, it feels substantial and grounded, with clean lines that let the natural organic feel take center stage rather than ornamentation.
As the bed is a platform style, it removes the need for a foundation allowing the modern minimalist look to shine. The integrated under-bed storage drawers are seamlessly built into the frame, maintaining the bed’s clean appearance while adding real-world functionality. The drawer fronts are flush and unadorned, so storage feels intentional rather than utilitarian. The result is a bed that feels timeless rather than trendy—equally at home in a modern, transitional, or even rustic bedroom. It’s designed to anchor the space, age gracefully, and quietly communicate quality through material and proportion rather than flash.
Key Features:
Materials: Poplar solids with premium oak veneers
Finish: Rich, translucent Brownstone tone with a light protective topcoat
Hardware: Pewter accents
Construction: Dovetail joinery used in drawers and case construction, ensuring long-term durability
Footboard Storage: Two full‑extension, soft‑close drawers at the foot of the bed
Drawer Quality: Solid wood drawer boxes with fully finished interiors
Glides: Premium undermount soft‑close glides
Platform Design: No box spring needed
Queen Bed: 55”H × 66”W × 86”D
