Germain Cobalt Chair Using Crypton Performance Fabric

Germain Cobalt Living Room Collection using Crypton Performance Fabric

There is a difference between furniture that simply fills a room and furniture that defines it. The Germaine Cobalt Chair embodies that distinction, bringing together timeless American craftsmanship, sophisticated contemporary styling, and the legendary comfort of the celebrated “Bernhardt Sit.” Upholstered in a richly textured, deep navy blue Crypton Performance Fabric, its beautifully tailored silhouette, generously proportioned seating, gracefully rounded arms, and elegant designer accent pillow create an atmosphere of understated luxury. But the true indulgence begins the moment you sit down. Bernhardt's remarkable Spring Down cushion is engineered with individually pocketed steel Marshall coils surrounded by supportive high-density foam and enveloped in a luxurious blend of genuine duck down, feathers, and soft polyester fibers. The result is an extraordinary combination of sumptuous, enveloping softness and resilient support that welcomes you home day after day. And because extraordinary furniture should accommodate real life, the beautiful Crypton Performance Fabric provides exceptional stain resistance, effortless cleaning, and GREENGUARD Gold certified peace of mind, without relying on PFAS chemical finishes. This is furniture designed not merely to be admired, but to be lived in and loved for years to come.

Beneath that exceptional beauty lies the uncompromising craftsmanship that has made Bernhardt one of America's most respected names in fine upholstered furniture. Proudly Made in America by skilled craftspeople, its substantial frame is constructed using kiln-dried hardwoods and reinforced multi-ply engineered hardwood, with precision interlocking joinery and heavily reinforced corners engineered for enduring structural integrity. A robust steel spring seating foundation distributes weight evenly, providing the consistent support essential to preserving both comfort and appearance through years of daily enjoyment. Unlike ordinary upholstery built to meet a price point, Bernhardt furniture is thoughtfully engineered from the inside out, combining premium materials, meticulous construction, and an unwavering commitment to lasting quality. From its richly detailed upholstery to the luxurious resilience of its cushions, every element reflects a philosophy that truly exceptional furniture should be as remarkable decades from now as it is the day it enters your home.
